Hey, I'm Sumanth

I work in marketing and have tried many different roles over the past ten years. I have worked in sales, marketing, and now I focus on operations. In school, I was an average student. I wasn't a topper, and I didn't stand out much in other activities either. I liked sports, but I never took them seriously.

What has always stayed with me is my curiosity. I love understanding how things work and how people think. That curiosity has been my biggest strength and has helped me grow over the years.

I started my career in an Indo-Japanese company where I learned the fundamentals of corporate work. It was a structured environment that taught me discipline, how to navigate corporate hierarchies, and the importance of attention to detail. From there, I moved to a sports tech company. This was where I fell in love with the sports industry. I started to understand the unique challenges and opportunities in that field.

Right now, I work at a mid-size company where I'm learning something completely new. Every day is different, and I enjoy the new challenges that come my way. I enjoy reading books, but to be honest, I don't always remember what I read or apply everything I learn. I also spend more time than I should scrolling online, and I'm quite active on Substack. I love riding my bike whenever I can. My last trip was to Ladakh, and it was an unforgettable experience.

I've started posting random thoughts and learnings on social media. I might share blog posts or other content here in the future. For now, I'm writing and exploring what feels authentic to share. I'll decide the direction as things evolve.
